The Girls Varsity Golf Team is back to back State Champions!!! Capturing its second State Title yesterday at The Tournament of Champions played at Trump National Colts Neck --- See Photo below. Congratulations!!

 

Attention Latin Students! The next Latin Club meeting will take place on Wednesday, May 29th at 7AM to celebrate Lemuria, the feeding of the ghosts.

 

Ridge Drama Club will be holding elections at the next meeting on Thursday, May 31  at 2:30 in the PAC.  E-mail Ms Kern, by this Monday May 29^, if you are interested in running for a position and include the specific position in your e-mail.

Girls Freshmen Softball will have a short meeting immediately after school today, the 24th.

Today during your lunch period, make sure you cast a vote for your favorite student directory cover design! Voting will take place in the lobby outside of the cafeteria. The designer that receives the most votes will receive one hundred dollars and their cover design will be used for the 2012-2013 student directories.

Any Junior interested in running for a Student Government Position for next year, should pick up the Officer Petition forms and instructions from Ms. Milde in Room 308. Petition and Candidate statements must be handed in by 2:30 on Friday June 1.  Any questions please see Ms. Milde in Room 308.

Design your Ridge High class ring by Balfour! Catalogues are available in the Main Office, and orders are due by next Wednesday, May 30.

Attention Ridge Productions members: a mandatory meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 29 immediately after school in Rm. 615.

Attention Juniors: Applications for vehicle registration for parking at Ridge High for the 2012-2013 school year are now available in the Main Office. Please write your initials by your name on the clipboard when you pick up a registration sheet. Registration applications are due back by Friday, June 15.

 

Thank you to all the Ridge Students who volunteered at Sunday's Superhero Half Marathon in Morristown. In appreciation of the students' volunteer efforts, the Race organizers donated $1100 to The Fern Wilson Memorial Scholarship that is awarded to a member of the Senior class each year! Special recognition to juniors Brendan Mulry and Ashton Webster, who represented the Ridge volunteers by running an impromptu Half Marathon in one hour, 49 minutes! Students who need their community service log signed should see Ms. Muraview in Guidance.

Attention Dancers! Ridge Dance Team auditions are Tuesday May 29th from 2:30-4:00 in the Dance Studio. Email Ms Falis to sign up for the audition.

 

Seniors interested in speaking at this year's graduation should submit their 3-4 minute speech, which is approximately 750 words, via email to Dr. Donlevie no later than Tuesday, May 29.
