Announcements 


T-shirts are on sale today for $15 during all lunch periods for the Pink Out Game, tonight vs Montgomery.  Proceeds from all shirt sales go to benefit Breast Cancer Research.

 

Monday, October 6th, is National Stomp-It-Out-Day.  We are encouraging everyone to wear BLUE and join us in solidarity to stop bullying, cyberbullying, homophobia, racism and hatred.  Make sure to wear BLUE on Monday!!!

Attention Juniors and Seniors:  The following colleges will be visiting Ridge this week:  Franklin & Marshall College, University of Scranton, University of Chicago, Hofstra University, Sacred Heart University, College of the Holy Cross, Fairleigh Dickinson University, Stetson University, Ursinus College, State University of New York, Sewanne: University of the South, American University, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences, Plymouth State University and Brandeis University.  Please remember to print the confirmation page and have your teacher sign it.  This is your pass for the visit.

 

Chess Club will meet today Thursday, October 2nd, right after school in room 526.  All levels of players are welcome.  If you would like to learn how to play, please come and someone will teach you.  Refreshments will be served.

 

Ridge Book Club will have its first meeting today Thursday.  The meeting will be in room 726 at 7 AM. Doughnuts will be provided.

 

If you are interested in participating in the Voice of Democracy essay contest details can be found on Naviance under “scholarships.”  The contest is available to all grades and the deadline for entry is October 29th.

 

Attention All Drivers:  This message is from the Bernards Township Police Department and is meant to forewarn you about an observed driving practice that could cost you a traffic violation.  The driveways across from Ridge High northbound exit only driveway. Drivers can and will be cited for a motor vehicle violation. The statute is Driving a Vehicle on Public or Private Property to Avoid a Traffic Signal or Sign Not Permitted School are not “jug handle turnarounds” that are to be used to circumvent the.

 

The registration fee to take the PSAT is $26.00.   Please refer to the Ridge High School’s web site under “Counseling Department” and then “Standardized Testing Information” for instructions.  No registrations will be accepted after September 28, 2014.

 

Any student who has a question about the administration of the PSAT should see his/her school counselor in advance.

 

Start the year off organized!!  Purchase a Ridge High planner at the reception desk in the main office for $5!
