Want to help support
the Wounded Warriors project and the Vocational Studies program, while
expressing and enlightening your soul through the spoken word of yourself and
your peers? Then come to the 1st Annual Ridge High School Spring Coffee House
event Tuesday, April 29th in the Cafeteria at 6PM. Auditions are
tomorrow the 22nd at 2:45 in Rm. 404.
There are a number of scholarship opportunities available through Naviance.
Among others, Aramark is offering $5,000 to a graduating senior who plans to
attend a credited university, community college or vocational/tech school.
In addition, local businesses make significant contributions, including
scholarships, such as the Ridge Service Award, Michael Pennella
Award, Roselle Savings Award, and the Rotary Club Award. To self-nominate for a
scholarship opportunity, please apply online through Naviance. Award recipients
will be honored at the annual Bernards Township Awards Ceremony in June.
Attention Seniors: Applications are due Monday, May 5 for the
Fern Wilson Memorial Scholarship. The
scholarship information and application are available on Naviance. The scholarship will be awarded to a senior
who demonstrates the genuine interest in learning that Ms. Wilson encouraged in
all her students, one whose attributes include a positive attitude toward
education and a “can do” spirit.
Additionally the student’s documented participation in extra-curricular
or sports-related activities at Ridge should reflect an involvement in the
Ridge community similar to that of Ms. Wilson.

that you may have performed during the 2013-2014 school year (period covering
May 1, 2013 – April 30, 2014) is Thursday, May 1st. Please click HERE to view the criteria and to

of Ridge High School's awesome seniors. 2014 Mr. Ridge Contest will
take place tomorrow, Thursday April 24th at 7 pm in the PAC. Tickets will be sold
during lunch periods next Tuesday April 22nd- Thursday April 24th and at the
door the night of the event!
Attention Seniors: Honors Incentive packets are available for pick-up
at Ms Sobine’s desk, in the Main Office. Accurately
and thoroughly completed packets, along with a copy of your 3rd Marking Period
grades, are due back to Ms Sobine for review by Monday, May 5th.
Ridge Fashion Club invites you to donate any formal/semi-formal
dresses you might have and no longer need. All dresses will be donated to a local charity and given to girls to wear to prom. The donation box is next to the Welcome Desk. Thank You!!
The Ridge High School PTO is offering graduation announcements with optional name cards for any senior or parent wishing to purchase them. The announcement is a nice way to let family and friends know about graduation and is also a wonderful memento.
5 to 7 million animals enter shelters nationwide every year. Please donate dog and cat food and/or treats for St. Hubert’s Animal Shelter in the Donation Box next to the Welcome Desk. Small steps – Big difference!! Thank you in advance!
Attention Seniors: If you haven't already done so please check on Naviance for Local Scholarships and Awards. Please apply and submit your completed forms to Guidance by May 9th. There is a box on the secretaries’ desk in the front of Guidance. There are also other Scholarships local to the area. If you are unsure please ask one of the Guidance secretaries for assistance.
The Lost & Found clothing rack is located by the Welcome Desk off the main lobby, and the Lost & Found for texts, notebooks, and small items is in the Main Office.
The Student Job Opportunity board, for both paid and volunteer positions, is located to the right of the Welcome Desk in the main lobby. Several new job flyers have been recently posted.
Show your school spirit! Large green magnetic R’s are available for sale for $5.00 in the Main Office.
